Here is a photo of a native tui I caught here in New Zealand a few days back. Lovely birds once you get them in the shade and can see the full detail in their feathers.
For those that haven't heard the Tui calls, there are a couple of mp3 files on NZ's Department of Conservation website that share its rather unique song.
With Alan (caralan) posting some of our aussie birds and you coming up with your Tui the answer is to keep shooting and posting for the elucidation of those from Nth America
