Images from a recent trip to a small Canadian owned island with 4000 breeding pairs of Puffins, Gulls, Razorbills, Artic Terns and Seals. Highly controlled acess by Canadian Coast Guard , manning the Light House. People must remain with the Guardsman, while others spend one hour in a bird blind. Trip is a bit expensive and under rather primitive conditions. I used my Panasonic M4/3s gear with a user made gun-stock. Comments welcome.

Beautiful set Harry. Really like your puffin images. Was this trip to east or west coast of Canada?

Helo Alan.
Glad you liked the Puffin images. They were taken on the East coast of Canada. Our trip originated out of Cutter, Maine, in the USA. According to the Sibley guide to birds- the West Coast of Canada and the US, have Tuffed and Horned Puffins. The East Coast of same, seems to have the Atlantic variety. They leave the island birthplace in about the end of August and go out to sea. They return to the island birthplace the next spring.
