Thanks Birdie, the amazing part about this day was that they skimmed within 3 feet of you it sounded
amazing and you could feel the wind off their wings. Just awesome.

I only had a 500 with me
you could have shot them with a 24-70.

It amazes me that such an apparently energy DEFICIENT technique of fishing actually works. Obviously it does- but the mystery remains.
