This is a new one to me. Hadn't even heard of it until yesterday. From what I've read this species has spread across the United States and is now working their way into Canada. The lovely background is a recently ploughed and seeded hayfield.
If my memory serves me right I seem to recall hearing that we didn't used to have these in the UK until sometime around the 1950's or 1960's, then they began to move in from Europe and are quite common now.
