Nice comp and beautiful bird. Lucky you!! It does look a little soft around the beak and outline of the head. The eye is sharp and has nice light capture. The exif is blocked. Can you edit and let us know what settings you used to shot this?
I agree on the softness, but the eye did it for me. Looks like I am +2/3 exp also, forgot that.
Thanks for commenting. I'm considering picking up a lens like this, so I'll have to do some further shooting when I can sneak the lens out of his bag.
Nice shot. If you try stopping that lens down to 6.3 you might find it a bit sharper.
I have the lens and it can get some great shots stopped down and with good lighting.
