Thanks so much Joe...it is a ridiculous process just to get a camera...but I got lucky quickly. And that oriole is actually an Eastern Goldfinch. We have lots of them hanging around our specialized finch feeder at different ages and colors from green to orange to yellow.

Thanks Morris...I have a few lenses from my dark past that I will be trying out. But the main reason for the purchase was coupling the camera with the 200-400 for safari use. It's not my favorite for almost anything else as I don't typically shoot sports...would much rather play!

Charlie, one day I will not be able to handle big lenses and I am hoping that the technology of mirrorless cameras catches up to make the weight manageable...but for now I can still take advantage of the new DSLR technology.

Better than exercise Congratulations on the new body. I look forward to seeing more images. I am curious to see how the fps vs density works out. I have started shooting more and more with the 5diii because of the 6fps and better light capability. I am sure you will experience same. Looks good above. Scott
