Nice expression! Living inland we don't have these "babies" nearby. I suspect in Tuscon you don't either unless Sabino Canyon is flooded!! Well done Norm!
Looks like a heavy crop and it is a little noisy. Tony Markle suggested a noise reduction program called Neat Image which I have used. Great program and easy to use. Have you seen or tried it?

Thanks Alan, I re-did my my backyard pool
Thanks for pointing out the noise. I was sloppy and in a hurry and didn't notice it. It wasn't a little noisy, it was a lot noisy.
Edward Munch's scream....too bad you can't sell this one for for about $120 mil. Then you really could afford to move the ocean to your backyard. Oh well, you'll have to settle for ...

Eric, I'd be willing to prostitute my art and almost give it away for a paltry $60 mil and settle for building a rustic cabin on the coast and a private jet for transport.
Norm
ps thanks for the nice shot comment
Morris
Thanks Morris. I got this close through the powers of a 500mm lens and the little "+" doohicky in P.S;Elements. Besides it is against the law to disturb marine mammals.

Speaking of noise...
Have you ever played with the 7D and the iso, looking at the noise?
I tend to find mine has sweet spots for noise. 160 produces less than 100 or 200. 320 produces less than 200 or 400, etc. 640 produces less than 500 or 800. It is bizarre how 320 will produce less than 200, but it seems to do that consistently.

Thanks for the info on noise. That is interesting. I will check that out and see if my 7d behaves the same way. After a short test I don't seem to find that in my camera. The 320 and 200 are very close in my tests. Having said all this, I must admit I'm not the best at this kind of thing.
