I had no luck in the early morning hours so I thought it couldn't get worse and drove further up north to the
bird hide with the rumored kingfisher. Never seen one the four times I was there before.
After 1.5 hours and the occasional visit of a wagtail something showed up......

Great job on the tailwaggers Chris Looks like they eat all sorts of bugs!! Hmm the last one just may be the faceless KF, a rare species indeed! Oh I can't wait, hurry up!

Thank you Tim. Not much else was happening during waiting. So the wagtail was very welcome.
Ok, I will start the 'Dutch Kingfisher' series now.
