Very nicely done. I like 3 better than 1 because the bird is looking into the open space on the right, that and the flow of perch runs that direction also. A wonderful shot!
Tim, thanks a lot! There's something about #1 that makes it unique to me. I guess I don't get many head on shots like that one. I typically compose for exactly what you said, but then again, rules are made to be broken
