Oly 75/1.8: Prefer black and white or color?
Both are very nice, but I prefer the color version. Not for the colors themselves, but the skin tones look a bit lifeless in the B&W conversion. Maybe another tone curve would have worked better for me.
Picked up the 25 f1.4. Tired it out on the way home and it shows promise. First processed pics have come out a wee bit over sharpened. I thought the 45mm was sharp, this ones on a different level.

Yeah you gotta be really careful with the 25, especially if you stop down and you're photographing fine scenery, as it's pretty easy to over-sharpen. I also found this out with the Oly 45 1.8 stopped down - JPEGs from the OMD are way too sharp even on -1 sharpening and RAW can easily over sharpen on a "Normal" downsampling sharpen from Lightroom.
Ernie Aubert I use the ef 200f2.8L, in fact all my ef lenses. The 400f5.6 gives me a 35mm equivalent 800mm which is handy on occasions. I also have the adapter with the inbuilt adapter. It works well with the lenses that have their rear element closest to the sensor. Otherwise it does vignette a lot.
It seems like it is raining everywhere right now, guess it's autumn as it should be!
Earnie, I've been doing some tests with the NIkon AF 180 F2.8 as well and enjoy the results, they do feel sharp so far at least. Not sure how that lens compares to the Canon 200 F2.8 though. It feels very possible to get good quality with legacy lenses.
