Is the vignetting from the adaptor or was it rendered in post? The vignetting works/enhances this image. There is quite a bit noise though.

Bobbytan this was is the ef 85f1.8. The aperture in the adapter has numbers one to six. Six being the smallest apeture which probably represent aprox aperture 16. I don't know where it was set at the time of this shot.
Apples to oranges test to see which is better ... the OM-D + 75/1.8 or 5D II + 100L macro. To my eyes there is no contest. The Oly image is brighter and crisper ... better color and contrast although there is less resolution/detail. If you not convinced go do the test yourself. My Canon days are numbered.
Julian, I would have believed it if you said the 1st image was shot with the Oly 60 macro. The sharpness and detail is mind-blowing! More power to us m43 shooters!
Julian - thanks! I'm liking your images above, especially the second. I'm still exploring the 75 but I like it a lot. It's reminds me of the Zeiss makro-planars that I use on my Canon gear. It's definitely the sharpest MFT lens I've used to date. But color rendition and f/1.8 also put this lens at the top!
Bob the second image is a superb demonstration. What I am seeing in this lens on the web are what I see in the likes of the EF 200mm f2.8, EF 135mm f2, the 70-200mm zooms and that is the tonal richness of colours as well as the contrast, sharpness lusciousness these lenses give. All makers have these lenses and it seems Oly in the micro set up has joined the club with at least three of their lenses to date. This is of course why I got the OM-D. I had already have the nex 5n, but could not see that Sony themselves took seriously, the lens. Hope to see more of your images.
