Fast indeed, but I think something like the Canon 135/2 L or the Nikon 200/2 VR still would trump it as the ultimate portrait lens, at least for natural light, outdoor sessions, where you've got the room.

Flypenfly, I like the bike rack(?) picture. It is nicely lit and stands away from the surroundings. The muted colors are relaxing also. Were there no people around? It looks like it would be a popular place.
