Took a pre-Christmas trip to the zoo with kiddos in tow, E-M1 and 50-200
Also wrote up a review of the 50-200 (on the E-M1) at my site (smithclicks.com) if you're interested in more
edit - whoops, uploaded wrong versions for FM -- Fixed.

cputeq,
You have some great images there with the 50-200mm. Were they cropped much?
Thanks,
Aaron
Thanks Aaron and yes many were cropped by a fair margin - some much more than others. When I get time I can give you some general amounts if you're interested.

hmmm. One of the selling points of the EM1 was that it would give native AF speeds on these 4/3 lenses. Maybe I misunderstood
I am not going to bother anyways. Just curious.
Well I think Olympus technically went with "better AF over the E-M5", which apparently it is.
On their web site, they still make a disclaimer that AF may not meet the levels of E-5 performance.
This could be highly dependent on the glass used, though. Right now I've only got the 50-200. I might get crazy and rent a 90--250 or something one day to see how it goes.
And to be honest, it's not like the E-5 was ever a blazing fast AF performer either -- I had it with the 50mm macro, 50-200 and the 14-54 II and none of them were super-fast, with the 50mm being a downright pain in the ass.
