The diagonal Chrysler building shot is killer and probably would only work in B&W. I'm just now getting conversant enough with my new (used) OM-D that I should have something to contribute soon.
With the Oly price drops, I decided to pick up the Olympus 75-300 ($450 new). I'd been wanting to get one for a while. I know it's not super awesome glass, but there are times I just want a small, lightweight supertelephoto (and not lug my FD 50-300 f/4.5L). So it came today. Despite the plastic build (save for one metal ring at the end), I'm very impressed with the build quality. It's very solidly put together, with great feel on the zoom ring, very tight tolerances, and no creaks or wobbles at all. Image quality seems to be very good in the 75-240 range, and decent in the 240-300 range. You definitely need good long lens technique, even with IBIS, though.
Some shots. All are at 300mm wide open, except for the leopard, which is at 221mm.
Awesome for the price! I think I should get one myself!

Nice shots Jordan. I just picked one up as well. After the first 2 days of use, I was thinking of returning it, but the more I use it, I'm undecided. Your shots look very nice though. Tomorrow is motocross shooting, which will help me decide whether or not I'm keeping it.
I have viewed some unbelievably good shots from this page and the one before. Always good to see, Impressed with the 75-300 Jordan.
Not a lot lately but an eye. Picked up a trigger from a second hand self. There was a FL50. Thought about it but without the Radio receiver undecided. So took along the Canon 430EX11 and the trigger works from the OM-D using the Canon flash. A good compromise. Obviously manual mode, but the truth is I am not at all knowledgeable about TTL and flash in general. Hope to use it holding the flash in hand for macro, plant and insect shots. The 430EX did work on the OM-D but I did not trust it fully , if it may do damage. The trigger is fine and hope to have fun with it.
First rushed try, with flat flash batteries, so it got a wee bit frustrating.
I like the Oly 75-300, but decided to get the Pany 100-300 for some reason.. Here is one from its first outing to the zoo yesterday.. Not a bad lens but shot through glass its not great.
Can't really expect anything more from these 75/100-300mm zooms than you would any mid-grade consumer zoom for a Canon or Nikon DSLR. Granted with the 2x m4/3 crop your getting 600mm equiv reach which is nice, and darn fun, but neither are really world class optics.
I for one think there could be a decent market for something like a 300mm f4.0 tele prime for m4/3 if they could keep the cost reasonable. Something like a 300mm f2.8 would better but I think just too pricey to really move.
Something like a $1299 300mm f4.0 though that was really good optically and around just 3lbs in weight probably would be pretty attractive for a lot of users
Yeah, I just wanted something long, small and decent for those times I don't want to lug the weight. Looks like the 75-300 will be perfect for that. I use my FD 50-300 f/4.5L for high quality long stuff, and its excellent, but it weighs a metric ton.
If they did a 300/4, I sure hope it would weigh less than 3 lbs. The EF 300/4 only weighs 2.6lbs, and it covers the full frame image circle and has IS.

Another quick shot from the 75-300. It's definitely not exceptional at the long end, but it isn't bad either...it's good for the size and price. I'm finding it very sharp in the 75-220 range, though.
This is at 300mm wide open...just a test shot with flash
