Thank you Socrate. I did grow up in Switzerland but never happened to find a very protected edelweiss.
About two month ago I was very surprised to spot a small pot labeled edelweiss at the garden centre.
And to my even bigger surprise they came up well in my garden. Hope they don't get too common.
