Great capture! Of course, I have a partiality to violin photos but you've given a new life to this old fiddle. Judging by the f holes and the varnish, this doesn't look like it was much of a violin even brand new. I suspect it is prouder now than at any other point it its existence. Well done, indeed!
Endre, I agree that the quality of this violin is an entry level version but seeing this violin sitting on old chest in the living room of an historic home we were allowed to visit, I realized it might be a good fit for the WA.
I grew up playing the violin in L.A. during the 70's (San Fernando Valley) as my Dad was a fan of Orchestra's, I still have my old violin but haven't touched it in many, many years. I never had your extraordinary gift for playing the violin but I appreciated the chance I had to experience playing the violin.
