p.1 #1 · Dance of the cranes

Love is in the air for this pair of Crowned Cranes. I guess they didn't mind an audience. Those are Egyptian Geese in the forefront and the wild beesties had to take a look in the last. Sure was fun to watch these beautiful birds do the Lambada.
These are a fairly big crop and processed on my laptop so there may be a fair amount of noise.
Eric

The Geese just look so clueless

I would love to have the chance to photograph these guys in the wild, they are such beautiful birds. Nice work on the loong shots Eric, what gorgeous creatures.

Very nice, Eric.
The Egyptian geese add a comic flavor to the images. So I'm with Tim here.

Exquisite images, Eric.
Similar to Canada geese being close to swans, these Egyptians are dwarfed by the size of the cranes. Such comparos always surprise me.
And of course, the crowned cranes are incredibly beautiful birds, although watching them dance is probably the same as imagining Forrest Gump teaching Elvis how to dance .

The first is my pick Eric. I’ve watched sand hills do their dance so I understand the joy had watching this.

A lovely set, Eric. Fascinating for me, as I'll never manage to see that kind of scene in real life.
