I agree also the episode 4 and 5 of "Star Wars" best of the six and the worst I have to say episode 1 just hate jar jar binks..even though I did see it about 8 times in 99' WTH...lol
At arms length--the survivor is nearly always the one who got off the first shot, even if it only served to rattle the opponent enough to make the second shot count.
"What tissue you would recommend for lens cleaning?"
"Canon again failed!"
"Is 5D III worth the $XXXX upgrade?"
"Itīs enough now! I switch to Nikon!"
"Did someone already get his order from amazon delivered?"
"500 4.0 L IS or better XXX?"
"Is may lens lineup okay?"
"Thank you Canon ..."
No, imo this topic is worth to stay alive. There is someone not secure, if his gear is working like it should. A gear forum should be open for this kind of question.
Stupid are Threads like:
"I will purchase lense X, Y, Z. Which one first?" or
"Why does XXX this and not that?" or
"To heavy! Why couldnīt they have done it less (heavy)?"

This question mostly leads to the same answers in a repetitive manner which can be easily found by many other posts with the search function. But you are right, in a gear forum this will likely stay alive - fortunately I can simply ignore those posts

Trust me, as a Canon shooter, lens "dilemas" are a blessing.
Threads with the word "dilemma" misspelled (it must be the most misspelled word on the web). An exception to the ban should be granted for references to being "on the horns of an enema."
1. Should I use a filter to protect my RAW files from the OOC jpegs?
2. Who would win: Darth Vader vs. Darth Maul?
3. What's better, Canon or Yogurt?
Here's my unsolictied comments on some incredibly excellent, previous posts.

Kirk was a slut. How many blue alien women did he screw? In STTNG, Riker got to be the slut, but at least he was a gentleman and stayed the night before ditching the blue alien.
Canadian success story! There will be a lot more James T's running around the universe than W.T.'s, see C. Darwin (1859)...
