p.1 #1 · Stay logged in when using multiple devices or browsers
When you register or edit your profile, there is a new setting: "Session is renewed after: X days", which defaults to 2.
The UserSession cookie will only expire after the number of days you set here. Until then, you will be able to use the same UserSession on any number of devices, without being logged out on your other devices, but after you have been inactive for the number of days you set here, the UserSession will be replaced with a new one, automatically logging you out on all devices but the one you were last active on.
Note that if you actually log out, you will be logged out from your profile on all devices, not just the one where you clicked the Logout button.
This is a compromise that will be reasonably secure, since the UserSession gets periodically replaced and doesn't grant you access to a user profile forever, while still letting you use multiple devices without logging in all the time.

on my macs I've been logged out right away, 2 days didn't stick.
Was wondering what changed and that's why I came to check out this forum.
We'll test 60 days now

I just implemented this an hour and a half ago. Try now and it should work as I described above. Keep in mind that you will still need to login in every device first. I highly recommend sticking with the 2 days if you check the forum frequently.

Thanks Fred. Is there a limit in the number of days you can have?
