As a relative newcomer to macro and close-up photography, I'm absolutely fascinated by the myriad of colours, textures and downright weird and wonderful subjects to be found without straying very far. All of the below were from a brief evening walk in my local woods. All shot with a Tamron 180mm f/3.5, SB-800 with home-made diffuser. The last photos of the fungus were shot with two speedlites - one on camera and a diffused one from below.
