Very nice set. I'm partial to Pileated Woodpeckers, so that one is my favorite. But the Goldeneye chicks are very cute too. I think the bird in 7 & 8 is a Marsh Wren. Does that fit with the habitat the bird was in when you photographed it? Thanks for sharing. John

321photos: The goldeneye chicks were cute. Its too bad the mom was very wary of me being close. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
surfnron: Goldeneye chicks are very cute. The line up and rush to catch up and run into the back of the line and run over each other. Its funny to watch. Its like the 3 stooges x many. There were a lot of chicks and from what I have read, where two families come together the dominant female will chase off the other, often leaving the chicks behind which just join the dominant family. On the other side of the lake I found a goldeneye mom with 4 chicks, as opposed to about 12 with this one, which suggests they had an encounter. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
JohnJos: Marsh Wren fits much better than Brown Creeper - they were near the marsh and the pictures look the same. I have a birds of Alberta picture guide and there was no Marsh wren on it. Thanks for the id. Much appreciated. Scott
KCollett: There are lots of Pileated Woodpeckers in the Sinclair Canyon area of Radium. I will go on a hike with my 500 next time. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
