you are more than welcome to come to Nepal with us!
Actually we are going to be climbing Mera and Island Peak in the spring if anyone does want to join us.
Funny story... we were in NYC not long ago for an engagement shoot and came to find out that the groom is a serious hiker/mountain climber just like us! He has climbed all over the US and in South America. He was extremely jealous about our trip. I told him he should just come with us.... I can almost guarantee that he is seriously considering it, at least for the spring time trip. He is some hot shot finance guy so they have the cash. I would LMAO if he actually did come. How funny would that be. I would def. be putting that on my web page... "We will wine and dine you, shoot your wedding, then ask you to join us on an excursion around the world!" haha

Recently switched to LR myself. Still working out the kinks, but my clients are still very happy and seem clueless, and my God is it faster! I've always cataloged with it, but was doing a fair amount of PS work because, like you, I never used LR for more than WB, exposure, and blacks pretty much.
So glad I'm investing the time. I now feel as tho using photoshop for anything other than advanced cloning is like using a riot team to break up a girl fight on an elementary school playground.

BK, I can totally see the difference. While I like your processing, I feel like this is more 'natural'. This seems more life like and less interpretation. I think your style is more defined by the content of your photos rather than the overall look of them...so dont worry, they are still BK!

Must be a Scottish thing...
I think I recognize the greenhouse at the Glasgow Botanic Gardens in one of the photos. Deb and I are trying to decide whether to return to Scotland or go to Tuscany next year.

Doug - Unlike your client, I haven't got the cash money!
Josh - Exactly mate. It was the finshing touches to the images I was struggling with.
Chuck - Phew! Haha, yeah I don't want to lose my mojo!
Spencer - Cheers mate
Doug - Close... but the greenhouse is actually the peoples palace in Glasgow's eastend. The Botanics are in the posher westend. Good luck with your decision. I have been holidaying in Scotland the last few years... not by choice but it is truely is god's country!

Definitely looks like there's less of the "fill light" slider to me.
