but now Im chasing some small, strong lockable QR clips which I'll mount on my strap end, ............
that way I can unclip the clips & leave the loops only attached to the camera,
no clip swinging on the camera ,,.....no scratches
Looking for clips only ,...someone posted somewhere a wholsaler/Wharehouse with heaps of different sized & type clips ?

The first Mini Versa Links are strong enough for 1D-series body with 70-200/2.8L IS II. The Mini Versa Links below are about 30% larger than the one shown in my photo, above. I haven't found any of the really small ones for about five years.
The small plastic "S" clips are good for lighter cams like the X100 and X-Pro 1. I haven't used the SS "S" clips.
