Thanks Candice! I'm trying!
I can get anyone to that goal within a reasonable amount of time, through a modified diet and exercise plan. (personal training is something else I enjoy).
First thing I cut from people is exactly what you've done. Coffee is also a
Fantastic supplement for weight loss. (black). If you ate adding milk or making it a latte, I tell people fat free.
Congratulations to you. Generally speaking if you can keep it off for 6 months, the rest is gravy.
I'm not too manly to order a Shirley Temple. But usually I need caffeine, so a Coke is what keeps me running.
Then water. I always get dehydrated after weddings, and if I'd just man up and drink a few bottles of water I'd sleep better and be better the next day when I break into either another wedding, culling and editing, or going back to my day job.

You already know we've got sweet tea flowing like rivers here in the South. I switch between it and water (or soda and water) to stay hydrated and caffeinated.

Bottled water until the cocktail hour.
Then red wine, white wine plus beer.
You sound like me! I just drink bottled water during the day. I like red wine with dinner but I'll take the white if that's what they're serving. Few cups of coffee with desert. Beer later on in the evening because it's what's free.
