Big weekend for my wife and myself.
On saturday we shot an engagement / bridal session for a couple (Wedding June 2nd) and on Sunday we had our first wedding.
I talked about this wedding in a previous thread (https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1094970/0#10444860) as I had heart sugury 7 weeks ago and was asking about disclousure.
An FM member saw the thread and offered his services for the day as a second, and I convinced the client that it would be worth the insurance. (Thanks Marc!!)
As I said first wedding. Did not get any time with the couple for portraits and they only wanted the bridal party set up the same as the other formals. In total we probably did about 2.5 hours of formals!

If I ever actually had 2.5 hours for formals, I'd be giddy with joy.
Last Saturday, 5 minutes for one group outside of the church, 2 minutes for the groomsmen in the church, 2 minutes for bridesmaids downstairs. 10 minutes outside reception for all. 5 minutes inside for groups with family.
Set looks good.
Looked at your heart thread. Yeah..I would've postponed until dr broke wrist could've fixed it. Cracking your sternum has to suck. I've had two broken ribs, and I hated it. I had a run of the mill "standard" acl surgery and got a cellulitis infection and it sucked. Never rule out complications.

Thanks for the comment Robert.
By "formals" I actually meant that I had 2.5 hours of pictures like 16, where the couple stood as practically each guest / family got photos with the couple!.
I to would like 2.5 hours of creative time with the couple / bridal party
re: surgery, I have actually recovered better than I ever would have expected, and am out golfing / doing all my regular activities. No push up's or bench presses yet but in my everyday life I cannot even tell I had it done!

What Brendan should have said was, he had to do 2.5 hours of family pictures. Distant relatives and obscure cousins, etc. 2.5 hours. Two and a half. 150 minutes. Right in the middle of the dessert buffet line.

Haha, good times!
LoL.... I felt like it was some kind of evil Wedding initiation. But in the end I think the couple got what they wanted.
