So it's had one roll through it and then starts playing up, pretty annoyed. Only minor, and it can still function, but I'm not entirely satisfied. Basically, the front cap that slides back and forward inside the body no longer moves freely. It's jammed inside. I can pull it out, and it'll retract back in upon turning the camera on, but won't slide back across to protect the lens. I think it could be slightly disotorted, I'm not sure, but as it is the front element is exposed which I do NOT like.
Anyone know if this is a common problem, or whether I can get this repaired somewhere? No message comes up on the LCD display, so I'm thinking it must be a fairly simple mechanical problem.
