Those images seem acceptable for a sexagenarian optic. Of 90mm M/LTM Leitz lenses, the 4E Elmar has particularly smooth b/g blur (like the 'cron, but unlike the Elmarit v1 and 3E Elmar).

rico -- I know you mentioned that's the lens you have, the 90 with 4 elements. I'll see how these two lenses perform on the DSLR and M4/3 and decide if I need to pursue it deeper. So far, so good, and not very expensive either.
