OK, the 5D3 may be the best wedding camera now but next year there will probably be another "best" camera
Some might give "Best" and "Camera of Decade" title to the D800.
Should not any future version be called "Better" than previous and "More Expensive" ??
If you can't be bothered, the conclusion is, all things considered it's the best wedding camera out there, but not without it's faults
pretty solid review, a;though I'd think DR could come into play a bit more often than 2 shots a wedding
it is pretty weird how they crippled the SD slot speed, a bit hard to understand, that much penny pinching after raising body price $800? oh well, for me, I don't expect I'd dual card shoot too much other than certain scenarios where in my case I wouldn't need speed, but I can easily think of wedding shooters wanting to do so, so it's a very weird decision

Thanks the dr angle I guess is style based. I can get away with 2 stops push with canon so my thought was: how often do I need more? Usually at a wedding I don't but occasionally there are times when I do. I guess that's how I reached the conclusion but I take the point
Yes - it does seem like penny pinching. I did use the camera at a wedding and found in practice i never hit the buffer but I still think it was penny pinching. Unnecessary.
The viewfinder is my biggest problem still but silent shutter is my biggest surprise. It's amazing!!!
Thanks for the comments. I'll make a couple of changes based on them
I don't get this price complaining. My original purchase price for my 5D and 5D2 when they came out, when I bought them, were both higher than what I have just paid for my 5D3. You can't compare the current 5D2 price to that of the 5D3, that's ridiculous.
That said, I find the 5D3 to be a heap of a leap over its predecessors, so I'm happy to pay what it costs.

I think I'm happy enough with the price unless you look at the competition. Once you add the price of a battery grip (which is more expensive on the d800) the price is much closer. My honest view is it's Ģ300 too expensive. For my business that's negligible.
A review I like because of itīs real world relation, that gives me a chance to think about and "feel" what this camera would give me based on my needs.
Thank you very much Phil.

I've added some images from a wedding if anyone wants to take a look.
Yeah the 5D2 is prone to getting banding in the darkest parts of images at really high ISO, while the 5D3, even if it gets noisy of course as any camera does, doesn't have any of that ugly banding at high ISOs, not even at ISO 25,600 in poor lighting.
