Not the most spectacular lens ever but I can't live without my 90mm Tamron Macro lens. I've had it for almost 10 years, it's extremely light, sharp enough, and renders nice portraits with the option of 1:1 macro.
My Sigma 17-70 2.8-4 OS HSM
That lens is just impossible! Cheap and does a lot, very well, for just one lens! My Nikkor 70-200 2.8 VR II comes close, but it's just big to take with me every-time.
This has been a fun read.
Let's see if I can answer this in its proper context: At least one photography related thing, (Gear, wisdoms, etc...)And why.
Having been an expat for last 15 yrs I've learned its all stuff that only adds clutter to your life. My photography equipment is all liquid and I'm always happy to upgrade! Maybe my Canon 500 f/4 would be a tough one to let go. But really - its all my pictures - including 130 years worth of family pictures.
At least one non-photography related thing. (No need to include loved ones, or body parts thanks to ricardovaste as that's assumed ). And why.
I would say my upcoming pension with its empty nester (with good subjects/light) dreams!
