In relation to your quote...my grandmother used to say when she got married she had 6 theories on raising kids and no children...then later in life she said she had 6 kids and no theories!

I, too, like the desaturated look here, though usually not so much. Several of this week's entries use it effectively - perhaps its giving the shots that "elder" look...

Thanks Jerry. I wasn't sure about that much desaturate, but after I checked it with the treatment, it just looked right. Thanks for commenting, and it's good to see you coming back to the WA.
I love this shot. I think it might look especially great in B/W. I'm so-so on the desaturated filtering/pp - I think the red shirt detracts a bit from both of your faces, which is where this image really shines.
Still - great capture. Keep shooting people. You are very good at it.
