Canon 85/1.2L v1 on Sony A7II. With the latest firmware on both the Sony and the Metabones adapter, the 85/1.2 can AF reasonably quickly and quite accurately. The combination (the vertical grip is mandatory here) is large and heavy enough that I'd rather be using a 1D-body, but it DOES work.
Some of these photos are so fantastic. Back in the film days I had for a while the Canon 50 F1.0, two copies in fact, but I did not get along with the lens. I would miss focus, often by just a little, but that small degree showed. I sold them and never looked back. Back then I shot with a 630 RT, a camera I loved due to its speed ( it was the first pellicle mirror in a camera, I believe) but I like the camera more than the lens so away the 50 went. NOw I look at some of these shots and want to cry because I could never afford a copy now. What a gorgeous number of photographs - and unlike mine, all in focus.

Pavel, don't feel too bad. I have to say my success rate of nailing the focus with my FD 55mm f1.2 + X-Pro1 is about 10-20% . But digital just makes the missing shot not as expensive. If you don't mind MF, you can get one of these MF 1.2 lenses at a fraction of the cost of a 50L f/1.0. I got my FL 50mm f/1.2 for 150 locally.
With 50L, I think I have a better chance of nailing focus (about 50%) though it also depends on the camera as well. (My 1Ds2 does a much better job than my stone-age 1Ds.) I don't think the image quality is 5-6 times better either.
