Sry for the size and somewhat nonsense image. I probably like it just because it is a just mended seam of an 50 yr old car seat - and I like the car. And the character of the lens naturally.

The Mallard is awesome! Must have been a challenge to get that close on a 58.
thanks! the ducks are pretty easy to get close to, they're used to people feeding them. the hard part is focusing on them as they move while holding the camera out just over the water.
Nikon D700 with Ais Nikkor 1.2/50mm
Heliopan ND3.0 and polariser.
Four 4 second exposures at f/1.2. Shot using multiple exposure, using auto gain, which is basically an in-camera median filter stacking method, creating a pseudo 16 second exposure.

The bokeh looks to be an acquired taste. Very cute low-contrast baby!
Didn't the Canon 50/0.95 start out life as a TV camera lens of the 60's?
Hi.
I had a Canon 7 with a F0.95 lens in 1964 that i purchased in an Air Force Exchange while stationed in Japan. Iam not sure about the TV version as to date. Nasa put on on a Leica M-1 body and pined the lens at inf. for some space flight/work.
