I had spent all day calibrating the focus of my 50L on my 5D3 and then took it out to shoot. An annoying thing about the 5D3 is that you don't see the focus point light up so you just have to assume that focus was achieved. What I didn't realise then was that the lens was still on manual focus from the testing when I took this shot. Got very lucky hitting focus by mistake at f1.2!
I've taken the time to browse through most of this thread on the weekends... lots and lots of fabulous shots, even though it's very far removed from what I was doing photography-wise. Proves that while it's not the lens that makes the photo... sometimes a tiny bit of help is necessary from the lens.
So much so that i am now looking at whats available on ebay.
dont know if i should be thanking you guys though. Seems like f1.2 can become a bit of an obsession.
I will be shooting on Nex 5n and Omd Em1 (When it finally becomes available here).
Any suggestions?

The lowly Nikon V1 (CX sensor) and 32/1.2 lens. Maximum shutter speed is 1/16,000 sec which allows daytime shooting wide open. This one at 1/10,000 sec.
