Starting to get use to the 42mm f1.2. Definitely not a lens made for the faint of heart, but you get some very rewarding results.
Big thanks to sebboh for helping make my decision process much easier.
looks great, glad you're enjoying it!
haven't been shooting at f/1.2 lately, but here is one from the rokkor 58/1.2 on tmax:
I was surprised when I showed up to shoot a wrestling match (my first one) and they turned out all of the lights in the gym except for an overhead spot. Luckily I had the 50 L in the bag . . .
the hummingbird feeder hangs in front of a window that is typically occupied by a cat. the hummingbirds are now quite unconcerned by the goings on behind the glass. here is the view with a wider lens more than a year prior (just linked since it's not f/1.2). unfortunately the cat has allergies and tends to dirty the glass with sneezes.
Sebboh, the Rokkor 58/1.2 is worth getting a FF mirrorless camera (once a decent one comes out, say Sony RX-xxx?) just for having a chance, for a Nikon shooter, to play with it for less than Noct-Nikkor 58/1.2 price.
Impressive shots, as always!
