I didn't! If you follow the link below the photo, you'll find it on the flickr page. You have to go to the drop down menu "actions." I know, it's a pain, but it's flickr's way.
By the way, I should point out that what I meant by "my first attempt was very successful" was that the 5D and 300mm f/4L IS performed very well. I can't say that I'm much of a sports photographer!
Indeed so. I wonder how it is possible to do that with such primitive gear. I always buy the latest and greatest gear because I know it will greatly improve my pictures.

At least the 5D has auto-focus, AI servo, ISO 3200, 3 frames per second, and digital camera raw. The first action two pictures I posted in this thread:
What? Beautiful pictures taken with a film camera? Who would have thought this is possible? Probably a miracle of some sort or a statistically insignificant event. After all, it couldn't be the photographer....
I recently picked up a 5Dc with Grip, & 2 batts. I will post a pic of my niece I took Sunday when I arrive home. I think I am going to *love* this camera.
I'm going to echo the sentiments here and say that the lack of features actually takes out the distractions from the picture-making process. In fact, even the bad LCD that people complain is a blessing in disguise since it discourages chimping and you focus more on taking good photographs.
It is a camera for the true artist, more concerned about composition/lighting/etc than achieving "critical focus."
For me its down to IQ and priced at what a half decent lens would cost. I have a Nikon D700 and at low ISO the 5D is superior for sharpness and color/contrast.
Jefferson, I absolutely love your first dog pic, with the two pals racing! I mean they really do seem like buddies having fun, they both show a lot of character, and the floppy ears are so rabbit-like it's scary.
