Just got my D800. No great subjects around and I need to buy better memory cards, but I still wanted to play. I'm already blown away by the detail. This is my first shot with the cam.

This was taken with a cheap "nifty fifty" lens. Shot raw, default sharpening in LR4.
Did a quick test to compare the D800 to the D800E.
The detail the D800 delivers is already amazing, but the E still beats it, incredible stuff!
I tried my best to produce moire with the E, but it didn't show in any of my shots yesterday.
Will shoot some more with it today and see if it can produce some moire for me

Here are some shots from Puerto Rico from my D800E with a 24-70 lens.
I had a B+W Cir polarizer on.
I am needless to say blown away by the amount of detail on the shots.
My only regret is that I forgot to use my Zeiss 21 ZF.2 that I dragged along for this trip!
