Got a call from my dad that last weekend the Nothern lights were visible from Duluth Minnesota amongst other places. We were camping around Nicolet National Forest in Wisconsin... went through some of my shots and sure enough they were visible... Just wish I had known prior to going.
This camera is pretty darn special. I love being able to crop and still have a huge amount of pixels left in the image. Even heavy crops are still huge. Very impressed.
Ok here comes a big flurry of some shots from my D800. I've had the camera for a few months but was just able to get around to "developing" the photos.
