jasenz - the pic with the giraffe and the bird is absolutely phenomenal! I have a d800 and love the crazy amount of detail I'm getting with my camera but after looking at this shot I'm wondering if I should have got the d800e instead. do u also have a d800? if yes, are the heavily cropped images comparable?
one other question. i only shoot jpegs but if I shot RAW instead will the difference be worth all the trouble of dealing with post-processing? (i'm obviously not a pro, just an expensive hobby)
