A little machining on the bottom and you could make it Arca Swiss compatible.

Looks like they used a material preset of cheap pane glass for the lens in this render. Anyway, the design looks pretty damn ugly and unharmonious to me.

I don't find it ugly, actually I find it quite interesting. I doubt it would be a comfortable two-hand camera though. Too blunt somehow.

I love the text describing the software to customize the menu's and exchange sensors. Too bad it's not for real.

How are you going to use the mode dials when it's attached to a tripod in portrait orientation? Use touch screen/menu instead?
I find the left side of the camera really ugly, like it's sawed off.

I wish Mr.Markov has a look at Leica X1, many wheels will be erased.

I like it a lot!
It could be a bit wider for two-hand operation.

The dials on the left are thought out IMO.
If mounted on a tripod, you just have to know the positions to operate the dials from the side. Also, these functions are not essential, one can easily set them before the camera is mounted.

Taking off the LCD and using it as a luxus remote control is a nice idea but sounds not feasible or at least not commercially attractive. But such things are details.

I love the idea of Pc guided menu configuration!
I wish somebody would produce such a sexy and innovative camera.

i think the uglyness factor is mostly due to your set ideas for how a camera should look. it's certainly not great looking, but doesn't look any uglier than normal.

looks pretty sweet functionally to me. i don't really change mode or autofocus type when on a tripod and you can still move them just not see them (i'm sure the lcd can tell their settings though). not sure what you guys mean about two handing it? one hand on the lens one on the grip should work as well as any other camera.

oh, i like the sonnar lens too.

Yes, you are right! I hereby withdraw my comment about the left hand dimensions.
This thing is close to perfect!

I think it's awesome! And did you read the specs? Full frame 36MP or 32MP B&W, 3.6MP EVF, 18mm register distance, IBIS, tiltable LCD... Add 60p no-compression video and high fidelity audio input and people will be willing to kill for it Yes, I know that the camera isn't real. But I like dreaming too!
