This is Gloria's breakfast pupusa. It's a pupusa with chorizo sausage and an egg on top. Also has fried plantains, which sounds weird, but actually goes well together.
I carried a Leica with a 35mm. In addition, my wife and I both carried a XT-1 each. Hers had the kit zoom. I had the 35/1.4
I usually try to get to know the people in a place I visit. Mostly, I am successful. Language barriers, we found, are easily overcome with courtesy, politeness and imparting a feeling of genuine interest in and respect for the other's cultures, heritage, and way of life.
