Shot this a few weeks ago in East Boston when there was a good amount of wildfire smoke. Outside of using the Velvia LUT in lightroom, I did nothing to boost saturation, vibrancy, contrast, or shift tones -- the sky really did look like this.
Photos from yesterday with my X-T5 of long time friend/model Baylee. She was helping me test out my setup with the Godox IT 30 Pro flash and my Sigma 56 f1.4 DC DN Sony version, which I had Sigma change to a Fuji X mount recently. The IT 30 Pro on all 5 photos is mounted on the X-T5, taken at around 1/16 power. The third photo is at 1/8 power, as she wanted the silver beads on the hat and suit to really sparkle (it's a tiny bit hot for me, see the nose reflection and slightly washed out hands, but who am I to argue with such a loverly model.... ) We are prepping for an upcoming 8 day Cruise Ship photo trip to the Mexican Rivera in early Sept with a small group of photogs and models.
