We've spent all summer working/relocating up here. Looking across the lake from where this shot was taken yesterday is the retirement home. 322 days 15 hours and 16 min's til then
A quick 3 shot snap with the X-T30+XC15-45mm kit, stitched at home.

Gorgeous! Jealous of the location...
You wouldn't be in January when we've hit a record of -32F....typical though is -10 to -15F for our coldest. Luckily bad winter only lasts end of December through end of March.

Ha! Seriously A pet rooster is totally cool. I'd be they are quite intelligent.
It's a lot of fun. We have hens also. And you are correct, chickens are a lot smarter then people realize. We've also learned that chickens have unique personalities. They are fun pets. And even more fun to set up lights and do fun shoots with.
Thanks Fred. I'm enjoying my foray into Fuji.
This morning I got to appreciate the IBIS. 1/80, unheard of for my old shaky hands. Handheld GBH and it is a balmy 34F out there which didn't help me steady this shot. Also thankful to Fuji for yielding a sharp 100-400 at 400.
