Shot this at Goa using the XT20 and the kit 18-55. Love this kit lens
So do I! It's rarely off my X-T2. It's the one lens I always grab when I have no idea what I'm going to shoot. It's as sharp as my 35mm f2.0, and with OIS, shoots in the same (or worse) light. It replaces 4 primes for me with no discernible loss of IQ. I just never call it a "kit" lens, no more than I would call the Nikon 17-55mm f2.8 DX a "kit" lens.

Can't agree more on this. It is such a versatile lens. One of the nicest "kits" that I have ever seen.
A panorama of a recent sunrise over near Phoenix, AZ. The colors are slight adjusted to give the appearance to the scene. Not the sharpest image, but it was an amazing sight! Fuji XT2 and 16-80mm, four images stitched in Lightroom and cropped to a 6x19 ratio.
