Yes, it is terrific optically. I had to buy the Lee SW150 filter system for it and it is huge compared to other Fuji lenses. ..but really average sized lens compared to many other high quality lenses. So I love it but miss the compactness of the 10-24 and Samyang 12/2.

Hoping to catch a few goldens this year myself. I love that place!

Read you review on the XF10
and picked one up for my wife's trip to Italy this fall
I turned everything off so she could use it on Auto mode but it does have some nice features
24mp and a crop sensor it takes great photos
