ZE21 on NEX 5N f2.8 at 125/sec ISO 100 Doesn't look to bad to me. Here at 2.8 and a 100% crop

That doesn't look bad, but it doesn't give you the wideangle shallow DOF look. Not talking about closeups, but larger distance from the subject.

It also got discussed on this page of Philbers thread:

Luka (Denoir) illustrates it well there.

That sounds pretty positive, Edward. Is that based on inside information or a feeling?

Not based on any information (my local contact at Sony moved elsewhere) but from digesting several interviews with Sony senior managers, I have the feeling it's only a matter of time.

Yes but the 21 Distagon is unbalanced and front heavy with the 5N, also not that wide either.

I think it would be better saying a FF LIVE camera than a FF Nex as the Nex and E-mount system is made for cropped sensors. But sure, when such a camera surfaces I'm pretty sure I'll sell of my micro 4/3 stuff (which I use now, for better portability and ergonomics and great native WA lenses - you still with the Nex systems can instead enjoy better image quality...).

NEX 5N, CV 15, G28, 45, 90.

You should get a G2 so you can shoot full frame too.

There is a G2 + 45/2 on craigslist for 500 here. I may go see him

If you are going to get the (almost) complete set of G lenses, why not, right?

I just checked again, it's a g1. Bah.

I guess a g1 is worth 100 bucks though.

Can anyone link me to the adapters they are finding best for the Contax G to NEX and Leica M to Nex?

I see the Hawks adapter. It's awfully expensive and I don't care about close focusing an UWA.
