I convert to DNG in order to bring them into Lightroom 4, but you could just install the beta in Photoshop CS5 instead.

The key to a great autofocus system...is for the images to be soft by default, making it hard to tell that the images aren't really in focus. That's good marketing!

thanks for that, Canon should have sorted this out, I remember the first 1Dx samples had a lot of banding, even when the images were resized.

This is probably as close as possible for release, doubt anything will be done now (I hope not).

5D3 ships on the 22nd and the 1Dx RAW samples will be out in the next week sometime (thats what I've been told by the canon rep)

But they look different, one called 2700 banding other called 3500 one
