Great idea. I am not wild about the font for "Race Day". I think a different font would spice it up a little. A little too plain for me.

Thanks all. I agree, the fonts/graphics are a little plain but my focus was on the logistics of keeping the names, faces and cars straight (which I succeeded). I loosely patterned it off a real magazine.

Paul, I agree with the head size but for some reason wanted to fill the space. What is a good guideline for that?

I like the idea, perhaps a stroke & drop shadow around some of the text to make it standout...
