Our dear friend and mentor, Lazlo, graciously shared how he does some of his beautiful work on another post and I thought I'd try it out on a few of my old photos. I hope you like them!
I too like the third, but the second has great potential. As is, it's a little spotty, especially on the left side. perhaps a slightly larger and softer brush?
Oh my I am so very jealous, I love his work, really outstanding for sure. How interesting Endre, yours and Lazlo's are the two I always save the post to look back at and the most I admire in this forum.
I love to processing on all but the last one, the table scene is especially well done.
Lazlo kindly responded to a question of mine on a photo that is still here on the front page of the B & W Forum "Waiting". Here's the link. We must all now always refer to it as the "Lazlo Technique". https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1088940/1
All the best,
Endre

Love the rose shot, stands out for me.
ps had a hunt for the lazo thread, but no joy. Any chance you could post a link ?
Thanks so much, John! I'm glad you like them although I'm not entirely sure what it is you mean by "spotty" on the left. I used a very large brush and just brought out the light that was already there. Thanks for the comment, though. I'll keep looking at it.
All best wishes,
Endre
