As always, Conrad, your images are impressive, especially those of this series right now. What a way to celebrate your 20K posting! Congrats! I have been here for over 8 years and mine is still not even 50% of yours .
Joshua
Thank you very much Joshua! You need to put up more posts

What a spectacular set to celebrate this milestone, Conrad My heartfelt congratulations
About Manual Mode, there is no hierarchy to shooting mode. Don't think that as you get more advanced you are supposed to graduate to Manual Mode It doesn't work that way. Any image you can shoot in one mode you can probably shoot in another. Occasionally there are situation when you need to take control of the three exposure parameters, while for certain situation is easier to work with a single exposure parameter isolated.
You will never hear somebody telling you: "Wow! That is a great shot! Too bad was shot in TV"
One think you need to know once you switch to Manual you'll find that your light meter works quite different.
Congrats again, my friend. All the merits go to you and to your determination and dedication to this shared passion. It has been a pleasure to see your progress

Thank you very much Socrate! I just wish to master all the aspects of what the camera can do. I think Manual forces you to think more, which I don't like to do much But I'll keep at it. It's been a pleasure to share my progress with my FM family

trailhiker wrote: Fantastic, Conrad! Just goes to prove that a little patience and perseverance (well, maybe a LOT) will pay off in the Holy Grail of WTK shots, and you got the sequence perfectly!
And 20,000 after only 4 years here? Gee, I have some catching up to do...
Best Wishes,
Steve
It was a LOT of patience Steve And a lot of frustration. Yeah 20K after 4 years, lots of blah blah blah from me
When I got your text I was in Utah with no internet access. I'm back home now and just checked out the images. I can see why you were excited about this sequence. Truly an amazing series of images and you slayed it! Well done!
