p.1 #1 · Nikon MB-D12 increased frame rate

I currently have the D700 with the mb-d10, bl-3 and enel-4a batteries to increase the frame rate. Is this an option with the D800 and mb-d12 to use the enel4a or new D4 batteries and a new battery cover? I haven't seen anything about this.

The MB-D12 will accept either En-El15 battery from the D7000 goto D800 as well as the new D4 battery. It will NOT accept en-el4a batteries.

I think I read you can get 6 fps with the grip....BUT only in DX mode.

4FPS only in FX. 6FPS in DX with 8 AA batteries (1.5V LR-6 Alkaline, FR6 Lithium, HR6 Ni-MH and ZR6 Ni-Mn or D4 battery. 5fps in 1.2 mode or 1.5 without grip.
